For more than 40 years, Parker Playhouse has been a fixture of South Florida, providing plays, musicals, revues, concerts and family programming to the Fort Lauderdale community. The primary goal of the 1,167-seat theatre is to bring together the local populace by providing quality entertainment and education for all ages. Parker Playhouse is currently managed by the Broward Center of the Performing Arts, and affiliated with both the Miramar Cultural Center and the Miniaci Performing Arts Center.
Upcoming shows at Parker Playhouse include "Journey" by the Meg Segreto Dance Centre, a kid-friendly Smart Stage series including the popular tales Stone Soup and Charlotte's Web, the Kosher Comedy Tour, and a Beatles tribute band called The Fab Faux.
