Satori finds it important to not only be a self-sustained apartment rental community for its residents, but to generate close ties with the surrounding Fort Lauderdale community. We'll always keep you updated on the latest community happenings, ways to meet new people and explore the neighborhood. Our upcoming sponsored event is South Florida's Gay and Lesbian Community Center Founder's Reception. This event is designed to honor the founders who have worked to create and preserve the strength and presence of gay, lesbian and transgender residents and businesses in the South Florida community at large. The mission of GLCC is to "provide information, education, advocacy, support, human services, cultural experiences and social opportunities [...] to foster personal development and quality of life for the entire community [...] embrace individuality and diversity, work together, and promote awareness, acceptance, celebration and pride."
